Operation Christmas Stocking

Operation Christmas Stocking - Providing gifts for local families in need

How many stockings will be over your fireplace this year?  For Souls Harbour Rescue Mission, it's at least 600, so I think we're going to need a larger mantle!  This year, we already have our children's gifts, so are focusing on adult stockings. Our preference is unisex stockings.

Making a stocking is as easy as 1-2-3.

1. Buy or knit a large stocking (available at dollar stores)

3. Pack your stockings full to the brim

Stocking Stuffer Ideas

  • Instant Coffee, Tea, Creamer & Sugar Packets

  • Disposable ponchos

  • Reflective emergency blankets

  • Pair of socks

  • Chocolate, Gum, Hot Chocolate Packet, Cup-A-Soup

  • Notepad & Pen, Sewing Kit, Comb, Washcloth

  • Chapstick, Lozenges, Hotel Sized Toiletry Kit

  • Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Deodorant

  • Fun Surprises: Slinky, Yo-Yo, Silly Putty

These are just ideas - you can add your own!

Please do not make giant stockings - unfortunately we will have to unpack and redistribute to ensure that each guest receives a similar size of stocking.
